
On October 28th, 2020, Pasadena Bio Collaborative hosted a virtual Lunch & Learn presented by Dr. Marie Csete. The participants learned the A-B-Cs of Institutional Review Board (IRB). Dr. Marie Csete, a PBC Board member, is the former President and Chief Scientific Officer of HMRI. She is on the editorial boards of “Stem Cells Translational Medicine,” “Anesthesia and Analgesia,” and the “Encyclopedia of Human Biology,” and is the holder of three U.S. patents. Kyle and a group of fellow apprentices were honored for their participation in the Bio-Flex bioscience development program. In addition, Kyle was awarded a paid biotech internship at the Pasadena Bio Collaborative Incubator this summer as acknowledgement for his ambition and volunteerism in coordination with our biotechnology education partners at the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE).
