Workforce Skills and Industry Needs

Connecting life-science leaders, students and educators, PBC has a regional voice: The LA/OC Biotech Center

Pasadena Bio Training grew out of the need for students to have work experience to back up their resumes. Through the LA/OC Biotech Center, Pasadena Bio began assisting Community Colleges to align their current training approach to skill sets valued by industry. This makes students more employable in life sciences, and makes the science pathways of education more effective in creating a workforce.

Pasadena Bio assists community college biotech program directors to connect with industry and align curriculum with industry needs. This makes students more employable in life sciences, and makes the pathways of education more effective in creating a workforce.
