Pasadena Bio Collaborative Incubator is pleased to announce that

Robert C. Bishop, PhD, President of Pasadena Bio Collaborative Incubator (PBC), has been nominated to accept a 2017 Rotary Humanitarian STAR (Science, Technology, Aerospace, Robotics) Award for his organization’s outstanding humanitarian achievement in health and medicine.

These awards recognize outstanding scientific or technological achievements which significantly benefit humanity in one of four categories: Health and Medical; Disaster Relief and Recovery; Environmental Improvement; and Knowledge Sharing.

Dr. Bishop is being honored for his leadership in providing wetlab and other support facilities to a large group of startup ventures in medical technology. The PBC Wetlab is currently incubating over 20 companies with patented research in areas of medical device, bio-manufacturing, process development, material sciences, small molecule chemistry and drug delivery.

The aim of the RHSTAR awards is to publicly highlight, encourage and promote the invaluable research and development being done within our scientific communities to benefit and save lives.

We congratulate Dr. Bishop for this nomination, and believe PBC’s contribution has made the world a better place for ourselves and for future generations.
